Description

We are looking for an experienced UCP/PSW or equivalent to begin immediately.

Training and experience as an UCP (Unregulated Care Provider) in medication administration and being in charge in a Retirement Home in Canada is required.

We are looking for a part time and full time UCP. This is primarily a nightshift position. Must be available for a minimum of every other weekend and through out the week.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Medication administration training and or administration experience in a Retirement Home.

Current Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent.

Able to work night shifts and a minimum of every other weekend.

Empathy and understanding of the elderly.

A high degree of tolerance and patience.

Excellent understanding and communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, walk stairs and ability to transfer residents.

Able to work well as a team member and with mínimal supervision.

Critical thinking and ability to be in charge (training given) when management not in the facility.

$18.30-$19.79 per hour
