Description

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble wood products according to specifications
  • Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth wood
  • Assist carpenters with various projects
  • Perform electrical work such as wiring and installation of fixtures
  • Lift and move heavy materials as required
  • Paint and finish wood products
  • Install cabinets and other builtin furniture

Skills:
Lathe experience

  • Proficient in woodworking techniques and able to read blueprints
  • Knowledge of various hand tools and power tools used in woodworking
  • Experience with drywall installation and repair
  • Basic carpentry skills including measuring, cutting, and joining wood pieces
  • Familiarity with tile laying techniques
  • Ability to perform basic electrical work such as wiring and installation of fixtures
  • Capable of heavy lifting and physical labor
  • Experience in construction painting and finishing techniques

Salary:
From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
