We currently have 11 locations throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. We are currently recruiting aBranch Manager to join our new team of dedicated professionals in
Kentville, NS.
What is my role?
Reporting to the Corporate Sales Manager, you will be responsible for directing and controlling all sales initiatives and branch operations to achieve planned objectives
Additionally:
- You will direct and manage all activities to achieve annual plans and budgets for the branch, to ensure achievement of branch objectives within corporate guidelines.
- You will maintain and grow the branch relationship with core vendors, suppliers and agents as set out in the corporate objectives.
- You will regularly measure yeartodate progress and forecasting results to yearend for sales, gross margin, and expenses.
- You will ensure that the branch's inventory is maintained at an optimal level to support branch sales and service and be within the guidelines set out by the budget.
- You will ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the building and manage current and future tenants.
- You will ensure the implementation of corporate policies and procedures as well as the maintenance of information systems to support branch sales and service.
What will you bring to Eddy Group?
- You possess a minimum of 7 years' work experience in the wholesale distribution field.
- 35 years' experience working in a management capacity.
- Postsecondary education in a related field is a strong asset.
- Experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development.
- Business planning will be key to success in the role.
- Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills, as well as knowledge of cost analysis, fiscal management, and budgeting techniques is essential.
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills, you possess strong business acumen and are highly analytical by nature.
