Responsibilities:
- Assemble components & lighting fixtures using hand tools, glue, and other materials
- Use measuring devices to ensure proper size and fit of components
- Inspect work for quality control
- Use tools and machines to change the shape or size of components or parts
- Use measuring devices to ensure proper dimensions of components
- Use machines to change the material used in the production process
- Measure parts using tape measure, micrometers, calipers, and other tools
- Use machinery to change the material used in the production process
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of lighting, equipment and systems in the field
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with lighting, equipment and systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Provide technical support to customers and address their concerns or questions
- Document all service activities, including repairs, replacements, and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Monitor and Perform QC activities for assembly of luminaires
Experience:
- Experience working with hand tools and computer hardware
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics
- Knowledge of computer networking principles and troubleshooting
- Ability to maintain and repair low voltage systems
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment installation and maintenance
Skills:
- Strong problemsolving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Detailoriented approach to accurately document service activities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and as a team member. Knowledge of basic math and measurement techniques required.
- Handy with power tools, electronic wiring, working with small tools, lifting up to 25lbs.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and meticulous attention to detail major asset.
- Electrical engineering/tech background
- Must be able to travel without restriction, within North America.
Salary:
$16.55-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
