The challenges that await you
In the Middle Office and Risk Monitoring, you'll have an opportunity to:

Establish methods for evaluating securities and draw up required reports for communicating/understanding the issues
Evaluate performance of management mandates
Identify, analyze and model various investment risks
Recommend benchmarks and monitoring processes

In the Front Office, your mandate will be to negotiate, analyze and manage portfolios for several different asset classes (private debt, corporate and government bonds, private equity and infrastructure, public equity, asset allocation, etc.)

What you need to qualify

Bachelor's or master's degree in a field related to finance, accounting, financial engineering, economics or actuarial science
At least one of the following designations: CFA, CIPM, FRM (or in the progress of obtaining one)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in programming tools (Python, SQL, Microsoft Excel, etc.) (an asset)
