As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for facilitating Federation's recruitment and new hire onboarding process.
To be successful in this role, you must have a positive and collaborative attitude while taking a proactive, detail-oriented approach to support the team as Federation continues to grow.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment:
Other HR Administration:
- Assist in the creation and administration of personnel files to ensure data is kept accurate and up to date.
- Provide support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure all personnel data is organized and accurately entered into company systems.
- Conduct general administrative duties such as generating documents, spreadsheets, letters, etc.
- Work in collaboration to the team to provide administrative support to the office on an ongoing basis.
- Provide administrative HR support such as updating files, inputting data, generating documents, updating spreadsheets, etc
- Provide exceptional "client" service to the Federation team members as needed and requested.
Office Leadership:
- Contribute to a dynamic workplace culture in Calgary
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or certificate in Business Administration / Human Resources from a recognized postsecondary institution.
- Minimum 23 years in recruitment and/or HR administration.
- Industry experience within professional services firms or oil and gas sector is strongly considered an asset.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- A high level of discretion, tact and confidentiality when managing sensitive information.

Working Conditions
Federation believes in providing flexible working arrangements for our office personnel.
The Calgary office is located downtown in order to be proximate to the offices of our key clients and is always available for our employees, but following a hybrid work schedule is also an option.
