    Reporting to the Manager Ambulatory Care Services, you will beresponsible for providing quality nursing care to

    patients including complex patient populations whose outcomes arenot predictable. As part of a multidisciplinary

    health care team, you will practice within the ProfessionalStandards of the College of Nurses of Ontario, the

    Standards of Care identified by CANO and CCO, the Philosophy ofpatient and family centered care, mission vision,

    values and the policies of Thunder Bay Regional Health SciencesCentre.

    Applicants must the following qualifications:

    Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse withthe College of Nurses of Ontario

    Current certification in BCLS

    Recent knowledge in Surgical/Perioperative Nursing withexperience in the care of complex patient populations

    Ability to use the Nursing Process (assessment, planning,implementation, evaluation) in conjunction with her/his

    basic and ongoing knowledge to arrive at individualized careplanning and delivery

    Collaborates and provides consult to Registered PracticeNurse's when patients assigned to the RPN become

    unstable or have outcomes that are not as expected

    Identify and recognize abnormal or unexpected patient responsesand take appropriate action

    Ability to simultaneously manage multiple nursing interventions

    Strong interprofessional and communication skills

    Central Venous Line Management

    In addition to the above qualifications, preference will be givento applicants who have:

    Certification or continuing education in wound management suchas NSWOC, IIWCC, Master's Clinical Science ‐

    Wound healing or Master's Clinical Science Community Health ‐Wound Prevention and Healing

    Salary Range: $39.070 to 56.000
