We are a high-achieving, close-knit team searching for an extremely organized
Communications & Multimedia Specialist to contribute to our digital content strategy and grow our online presence.

Reporting to the Director of Communications, you'll work closely with colleagues in the Communications and Public Affairs teams to execute communications activities and deliver on HAC's strategic plan.

You're an
exceptional graphic designer and video editor who can develop compelling content aligned with strategy.

You have experience in website administration and reporting tools and you're a consummate client-service professional, with the drive and maturity to provide exceptional service to internal and external clients and stakeholders.

You're an
outstanding writer and an excellent communicator in general. You're highly organized, efficient, and professional, with razor-sharp attention to detail and the highest of quality standards.

KEY REPONSIBILITIES:


_ Design_

  • Coordinate and produce marketing designs for both traditional and digital channels ensuring consistent branding across all marketing channels.
  • Design and update PowerPoint presentations monthly

_Write_

  • Be a second set of eyes on all communications copy
  • Manage the department's translation process with vendors

_Plan_

  • Create and coordinate HAC's monthly social media calendar
  • Track project updates using project management software
  • Organize all graphic design assets

_Report & Analyze_

  • Track and report on communications impact and reach across platforms to provide meaningful impact assessment to inform and improve HAC's strategic communications, and to align with organizationwide impact reporting on the delivery of challengedriven initiatives and annual organizational key results.
  • Create, compile, and provide regular and adhoc reporting to internal and external stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A degree or diploma in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Interactive Digital Media or related field/experience
  • 25 years working experience in the communications and public relations field, with specific experience in digital communications, design or marketing
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Mailchimp and video editing software
  • Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other reporting tools
  • Proactive, highly organized, and skilled multitasker
  • Displays integrity and a high level of professionalism
  • High attention to detail
  • Has strong teamoriented collaborative capabilities but is equally disciplined and productive working independently.
  • Is adaptable and can take constructive suggestions in stride
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills (French is desired, but not required).
  • Project management experience
  • Highly organized, demonstrating an ability to execute multiple priorities within specified timeframes.
  • Experience in social media curation, scheduling, and reporting
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to help the Association succeed and bring communications efforts to new heights
  • Comfortable in a dynamic environment with multiple demands on your time, and you are excited to take our association's communications to the next level. You are fun, positive and a willing team player.
