Marketing Specialist (NOC


The Marketing Specialist is required to set out and deliver a marketing plan for Kee Safety Canada that supports the sales and profit targets agreed in the annual business plan.

The role requires the support and development of annual marketing plans working within the agreed budgets and subsequent monitoring of expenditure and evaluation of marketing performance.


This position will include the following duties:

  • Developing, implementing, and testing marketing campaigns that put the company brand, its solutions, and services in front of our target audience;
  • Acting as a liaison with the Group Marketing department to ensure global brand guidelines are followed and group wide campaigns are consistently complied and coordinated with.
  • Coordination with the Group Marketing Director to ensure all website and digital marketing activities are pursued within Group guidelines;
  • Driving online engagement and conversions. This role collaborates with the core leadership team, becomes conversant in the Company brand, its solutions and services, customers, competition, and the strategic growth initiatives of the organization;
  • Using analytics to ensure the company website and its marketing campaigns remain optimized;
  • Measuring site traffic and search performance, performing competitive analysis, and establishing rank and authority leadership in key search terms/phrases;
  • Conduct attitude surveys to identify the interests and concerns of key groups served by the Company;
  • Writing content in the voice, tone, and authority of experts in our industry;
  • Social media management and content development;
  • Photo editing and landing page creation;
  • Creating and implementing E-Commerce product updates;
  • Determining the most appropriate and effective course of action to support the regional business goals and implement this on time and on budget;
  • Coordination of all external agencies as required covering PR, Advertising, Design and Print for the Canadian business. Assessment and evaluation are also required to ensure the Company is receiving optimum service and value from its agencies;
  • Assist in preparation of marketingrelated reports when required.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field (Communications or Journalism);
  • 5+ years in the Marketing field;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in both content development and online marketing;
  • A thorough understanding of all elements of the marketing mix;
  • A growth mindset: desire to be part of a team that is going to 'Double the size of the business';
  • Experience writing educational content and sales copy;
  • Blogging, Social Media Management experience;
  • Experience with Photoshop/Lightroom;
  • Experience writing educational content and sales copy;
  • Strong personal organization skills;
  • Familiarity with CRM systems;
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop (beyond photo editing) and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite;
  • Experience in the following areas: SEO & CRO; PPC & Social Advertising; Digital Analysis & Reporting; Copywriting.

Preferred Extras:


  • Graphic Design experience, a plus;
  • UX & Customer Journey;
  • HTML, web development and/or working with a CMS (i.e. Wordpress, Drupal, Squarespace, Craft, ExpressionEngine, etc.);
