Description
Ride the next mile with us- As an expert, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation and management of the organization's compensation and benefits programs. You will ensure that our total rewards strategy is aligned with corporate objectives and promotes the retention, engagement and attraction of top talent.
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with team members, develop and implement an innovative global compensation strategy, including compensation and benefits, to attract and retain top talent.
- Coordinate the evaluation of positions, the determination of applicable salary scales and the maintenance of the established classification system to ensure internal equity.
- Advise the Human Capital team and managers on best practices and market trends to ensure understanding of compensation programs.
- Oversee the administration of benefits programs including group insurance, RRSP and stock option programs.
- Manage and coordinate the annual salary increase and bonus process.
- Conduct regular analyses of market trends to ensure the effectiveness of compensation programs and recommend adjustments when necessary.
- Keep abreast of provincial and federal compensation laws and regulations that may impact our total compensation plan.
- Managing a team of 2 resources
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, actuarial science or related field;
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar role;
- Strong influencing skills;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel;
- Thoroughness and strong analytical and problemsolving skills;
- Bilingual English
- French;
- Knowledge of Workday an asset;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all hierarchical levels.
