Position Overview:
_

We are a family-owned business seeking a full-time carpenter to join our team. We work on a wide variety of jobs including renovations, fencing, siding and new builds. We are looking for an individual who can work independently and prioritize. We also work on farms and so must be comfortable with farm animals.

Please note that the pay starts at $35.00 per hour. However, pay this wage is flexible and commensurate with experience.

We are mainly based in South Langley but require the ability to travel to other locations (e.g., Delta, Abbotsford, Burnaby) depending on the job.

Hours:_

Generally from but there is some flexibility.

Responsibilities:_

• General carpentry

- rough & finish

• Basic drywall repair & finish
• Siding installation

- vinyl, metal & Hardi

• Concrete forming
• Fencing
• Dealing professionally with clients

Requirements:_

• 3+ years carpentry
• Basic hand tools & work boots
• Building envelope & structural knowledge
• Reliable transportation & valid driver's license
• Job references
• Good communication, troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
• LGBTQ friendly

Salary:
From $35.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Delta, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- carpentry: 3 years (required)
