Your opportunity:

The incumbent reports directly to the Manager of the Department of Biology and works collaboratively with stakeholders from the UTMOffice of the VP Research & Innovation, the Biology Teaching Labs, and researchers from various UTM departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

Following rules and procedural instructions when preparing plants for delivery tolabs for experimentation
Following rules and procedural instructions when weighing and mixing fertilizersolutions
Providing detailed explanations on how to grow plant materials

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
Minimum two yeas of recent and related practical experience managing growth facilities in a postsecondary environment, including experience in supporting teaching, research and administrative functions
The job requires a moderate level of muscular coordination and/or manual dexteritywhere precision is essential. E.g., Pipetting
