Duties Include:
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule banquets and the team who set up, take down and prepare, portion and serve food
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies and equipment required for functions, events and meetings.
Prepare food and beverage order and set up details and summaries for F&B team according to customer requests
Coordinate and maintain records of banquets and banquet equipment, inventory, sales and wastage
Hire and train team in job duties
Supervise and ensure team follows, serves and presents according to health, safety and company standards
Ensure that food and service meet company quality and cost standards
Assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs.
Respond to guest concerns and complaints quickly and efficiently.
Position Requirements:
Shift and weekend work required.
Physical labour and heavy lifting required
Able to multi-task under pressure and within time restraints
Teamplayer
Customer service oriented
Strong administrative, communication and organizational skills required.
