Summary:

The HR Co-op, Student will be responsible for the coordination of Human Resources activities related to administrative assistance, assisting with job posting and scheduling interviews.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to the HR Team to ensure tasks on hand are completed efficiently, timely and accurately to meet HR and company goals and objectives
Provide administrative assistance including filing, answering and responding to inquiries from employees and the general public, drafting correspondence, etc.
Assist with the preparation of announcements, job postings, filing and screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
Conduct, tabulate and record data likeEmployee Risk Assessments
Assist with the planning and coordination of employee engagement events
Other duties as required

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a college or university Human Resource Management Business Admin program, or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of HR legislation and bestpractices
Ability to work independently and in a team environment (must be a team player)
Must be able to take initiative and be selfmotivated
Proficiency with MS OfficeWord, Excel, Outlook) are essential
High attention to detail and organization
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
