Job Summary
The
Construction Project Manager, Landfill oversees the planning and execution of small and relatively simple projects.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management of construction and maintenance projects.
  • Planning and scheduling and organizing and directing site construction and maintenance.
  • Assisting with tender development and proposal evaluation, including interpretation and negotiation and administers and manages contractors and consultants.
  • Maintaining records including approvals and permits, asbuilt drawings and quality control records and project performance reports.
  • Creating and maintaining project schedule and document work progress.
  • Maintaining project budgets.
  • Upholding health and safety standards and company values.
  • Communicating with other managers and coordinating operational and maintenance and construction priorities.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in construction or project management or engineering or demonstrated equivalency.
  • At least 3 years of construction or supervisory related experience with preference for civil construction experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present information.
  • Strong organization, time management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to comprehend design drawings and specifications and related permits including the ability to interpret and solve problems.

A. Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience: Five years of relevant work experience.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

  • None required.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

  • None required.
