Full-Time Permanent with 3 months of probation period

Salary/Rate:

$20-25/hour

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday from 8am to 4pm, some overtime and weekends if necessary

Responsibilities:

Clean and prepare surfaces, or cover furniture and surrounding surfaces as needed before performing the job
Be able to select the correct sealing compound and tape for each job
Prepare and mix plaster ingredients to an appropriate consistency by hand or with portable electric mixers
Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
Press paper tape over joints to embed tape into sealing compound and to seal joints
Check adhesives to make sure that they will work and will remain durable
Sand at the end of the job to make a smooth finish of the surface
Put boards of drywall on decently
Ensure to clean up the jobsite at the end of day
Basic knowledge of construction industry
Minimum of 3year experience in professional taping
Ability to stand for a long period; to bend; crouch and kneel
Ability to carry equipment and materials up to 50lb
High attention to detail
Own reliable transportation
Ability to communicate in English
