Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:


McDonald's is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their team in the Fraser Valley Regional District, BC area.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities within a designated area, as well as assisting in the coordination of services and maintenance for all other properties within their assigned radius.

The position will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities, as well as assisting in the coordination of services and maintenance for all other properties within their assigned radius.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Provide regular and ongoing maintenance to all buildings, structures, equipment, roads, etc., of all assigned properties
  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants and respond to all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Coordinate with other departments when scheduling services or repairs for assigned properties
  • Take ownership of assignments and ensure completion in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Experience working in a commercial apartment maintenance facility preferred
  • Must have valid driver's license with an excellent driving record; no exceptions
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Previous apartment or hotel landlord responsibilities preferred
  • Must be able to pass preemployment screening included on the bill of lading and DOT physical exam via background check

Salary:
$23.00-$24.00 per hour

- millwright: 2 years (preferred)
