Job titleVideographerReports toMarketing ManagerLocationGTAJob Status10 Week Summer contract (35 hours/week)The videographer will work under the supervision of the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for assisting in planning, filming, and editing video content for NF projects and events. The videographer will ensure that the necessary filming equipment is available for use, directing other camera operators on set, and editing film footage.

Key Responsibilities:

Film videos on set or on location
Ensure that equipment for a shoot is available and working
Plan the shoot with the creative team and client
Participate in interviewing people and creating film clips via editing raw footage
Edit footage in postproduction
Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is acquired
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
Education/Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in film and media production or equivalent required
Proficiency with camera equipment.
Excellent computer literacy.
Proficiency with editing software such as Photoshop
Excellent interpersonal skills
Requires handling of averageweight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day
Strong understanding and knowledge of the Muslim charity/notforprofit sector is preferred
Must have reliable vehicle, car insurance and valid driver's license
Local travel is required for the job

Eligibility

Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the _Immigration and Refugee Protection Act_ for the duration of the employment**; and,
Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
