Electrical Technician
Overview:
Our team is looking to hire a full time Electrical Technician for the manufacture of Active Shaft Grounding electrical parts.
Job Description / Responsibilities:
Layout, documentation, generation of bill of materials, kitting, assembly, wiring, and FAT testing of control boxes, OSM, ICU and IM and other component assemblies (e.g weather station) for IRSS Systems
Electrical installation on naval ships as necessary
Management of inventory, spares and drawings
Construction of complex wire harness system
Work with various hand and crimping tools, heat guns, drills
Perform all responsibilities in accordance with the companies' processes.
Assist design engineers in material selection and approval processes. Generate specifications for custom part components.
Qualifications / Requirements:
3-5 Years Experience
Electronics Engineering Technician diploma or equivalent
Strong understanding of electronic/electromechanical component technology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent wiring, soldering and assembly skills
Ability to operate and interpret electronic testing equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation control circuits an asset.
Ability to obtain clearance for access to Controlled Goods and a Government of Canada Secret Level Clearance.
