Nella Cutlery & Food Equipment Inc., is looking for a skilled and qualified

Service technician for the Parts & Service Department in Mississauga.

As a member of our team, you will accurately diagnose and repair problems on a wide variety of appliances.

With a strong focus on customer service and a commitment to reliability, you will communicate solutions to customers.

Good communication skills, basic electrical and mechanical knowledge, and basic diagnostic skills.
Ability to perform equipment service and maintenance and to follow controls/wiring diagrams and schematics.
Team work is a priority and technicians must be willing to work with and assist coworkers as needed.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and troubleshoot problems and help our clients with their appliance repair needs
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of commercial kitchen appliances.
Generate accurate records of performed work, materials, and time.
Effectively communicate options and course of action with the customers; provide cost estimates.
Attend regular training and maintain working knowledge of latest industry developments.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work station in accordance with Nella Cutlery's standards and appropriate health and safety regulations (WHMIS)
Perform other duties as required

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Physically demanding; Ability to distinguish between colors; Bending, crouching, kneeling.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Trade certification in a related field. (electrical/mechanical/technical/refrigeration) is an asset.
Previous experience servicing hot food equipment an asset.
Electrical/ mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new technology.
Valid Driver's License with good driving record (abstract) required. HVAC license would be an asset.
Excellent customer service & communication skills, accountable and selfdriven.
Working hours are generally 7:30am 4:30pm from Monday
Friday, or as business needs demand.
