Seeking:
General labourer, construction labourer, skilled labourer

Major Work Area:
Construction & utilities

Position Summary:
Construction & Utility work
- street lighting, traffic signals, highway signage. Concrete installations, grout finishing, trenching, excavating, backfilling

Terms of Employment:
Full Time, Day. Opportunities for overtime + weekend.


Salary:
$17/hour (+ if Class 1/3 or air breaks)

Anticipated Start Date:
As soon as possible


Location:
Winnipeg, Manitoba


Essential Skills:
Class 5 drivers licence, working in a crew, following instructions, working with hand tools, organizing, on the job learning, job-site professionalism

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Class 1, Class 3, or air brakes license an asset

Languages:
Speak English, Read English, Write English

Additional Skills:
Experience working with or near heavy machines (digger auger, backhoe, loader), excavating, trenching, directional boring, street lights, traffic signals, repairing machines


Own Tools/Equipment:
Steel-toed safety boots


Transportation/Travel Information:
Valid driver's licence


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Ability to do physical work (mainly outdoors), ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, capable of lifting 100 pounds

Salary:
$17.00-$22.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

• Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- construction: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Class 5 Licence (required)
