Are you a skilled Fund Administrator in Private Equity seeking a full-time role in Mississauga? The APEX Group Americas is looking for a Manager in Fund Accounting, Private Equity for a hybrid working position.


As a Manager in Fund Accounting, Private Equity you will prepare work paper files, including investment activity, management fee calculations, IRR calculations, unrealized/realized waterfall calculations, etc.

You will also review fund reimbursable expenses and prepare capital call and distribution calculations, sources/uses of cash, allocations, and investor notices.

If you were already working here as Manager of Fund Accounting Private Equity, these are some of the day-to-day duties you might have taken on this week:

  • Prepare fund financial statements with footnotes and supporting schedules
  • Coordinate and support the audit for both SSAE 16 audit and the fund audit
  • Review LPAs, purchase/sales agreements, side letters, etc
  • Facilitate and monitor cash movements
  • Track portfolio company transactions (purchases, income, liquidity)


We are looking for a Manager in Fund Accounting, Private Equity with 6-12 years of professional experience (A mix of private and audit preferred).

You will need 3-6 years of direct Private Equity experience (Hedge Funds do not count as relevant experience) and the following:


  • Fund and Partner accounting knowledge
  • Credit funds exposure
  • Supervisory experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of LPA or other governing documents and experience with the audit process, including internal control and test of details
  • Experience with waterfall calculations and basic knowledge of Level 3 valuation methodologies
