Description

The Customer Care Coordinator works directly with the Customer Care Department to ensure The Best Homeowner Experience is delivered at each opportunity, from post-purchase through to post-warranty periods.

The coordinator will perform daily administrative tasks while also acting as a liaison to direct homeowner inquiries and concerns to the appropriate internal individuals/departments and/or outsideagencies.

The Customer Care COORDINATOR'S main DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES will include (not limited to):

  • Provide superior customer service, while protecting the interest of the Company and preventing Tarion intervention wherever possible
  • Conduct, perform and update all servicerelated administrative duties, deficiency reports, work orders and homeowner letters.
  • Coordinate all service requirements and issue work orders for site Service Technicians and Trades.
  • Prepare schedule for PDI appointments and distribute PDI letters monthly.
  • Review Closing Date changes, reschedule PDI and Prep schedule, update PDI / Prep report and distribute any revised schedules.
  • Track all PDI Reports and 30Day, Year-End and 2nd Year lists and prepare Tracking Sheets
  • Keep abreast of all Tarion guidelines, maintain lines of communication with Tarion representatives, ensure compliance within Tarion guidelines and demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Customer Care Manager
The following are desirable skills of a Customer Care Administrator:

  • Must have a good understanding of house construction.
  • Knowledge of Tarion and the Construction Performance Guidelines
  • Able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills, able to handle sensitive situations.
  • Continually demonstrates professionalism, and a positive attitude.
  • Must establish priorities and meet set deadlines.
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel, Newstar)
  • Impeccable with organization and timemanagement

Salary:
$27.00-$29.00 per hour

  • Secondary School (preferred)

  • Call center: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
