Job Description Summary:

The global HR Business Partner for Grid Automation PAC R&D & Product Management will lead HR strategy and partnership for these critical functions in Grid Automation globally.

You will be responsible for developing and executing the HR strategy to support your client's business objectives.

You will provide expertise and advice in the areas of culture, change management, strategic coaching, talent assessment and development and organizational design.

You will partner and influence HR partners globally.


Please note that although the position is posted out of Markham, Ontario, Canada, (where the Business Leader sits) this global job can be localized in different places.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Work in partnership with the leaders to develop and execute long and shortterm HR strategies that directly support the business and enable it to achieve its objectives.
  • Work with business leaders to develop and anchor GS & Vernova culture around leadership values and expectations.
  • Adopt a coaching attitude with business leaders, provide them with timely, relevant and direct feedback to help them develop their leadership skills.
  • You will be the driving force behind supporting your clients in building organizational capacity, reducing complexity, and maximizing team performance.
  • Contribute to performance assessment in the organization, identifying strengths and talent development needs in order to recognize, select, retain and develop key talent, plan succession.
  • Collaborate with regional HR leaders and HR partners to implement a coherent GA HR policy in the different regions and in line with the social relations policy defined by the local team.
  • Developing expertise and competency models within function. Growing career paths within the organization. Includes roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership.
  • Influences policy and ensures delivery within own function, linking with other functions of the organization.
  • Coach and support local HR partners in the execution of your functional strategy. Support HR operational partners to Prioritize, focus and simplify their activities in order to maximize their business impact.
  • In addition to these responsibilities, you will also support the Global HR team on strategic analytics & Standard Work.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent
  • Minimum of 57 years of professional work in the Human Resources function with generalist responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experienced in regional or global missions.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills: ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fastpaced environment.

  • Natural leadership and capacity for crossfunctional influence to mobilize and commit resources when necessary.
  • Good balance between strategic HR vision and ability to secure the execution of deliverables.
  • Be a driving force in the search for continuous improvement and force of proposal to simplify HR activities daily.
  • Communicative enthusiasm and committed personality able to respond with hindsight to an emotional environment, changing with multiple interlocutors.
  • A confirmed team spirit and collaboration.
