Job summary

The Simcoe County District School Board is accepting applications for a summer credit teacher position teaching CGC1W Exploring Canadian Geography.

Key Competencies Successful applicants Will Demonstrate Evidence Of ability to adapt learning to a land based experiential environment; knowledge of elearning as some courses may include an online component (D2L) in addition to in-person teaching;
a deep understanding of learning pedagogy and how it relates to Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Being;
demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of Decolonizing and Indigenizing the curriculum;
ability to provide program support for integrating Indigenous history culture traditions
and Ways of Knowing into the geography curriculum with an understanding
of how students develop cultural competence related to Indigenous education;
