The Cancer Clinical Research Unit requires a Clinical Research Analyst (CRA) to work with various research projects and disease sites under its oncology (Lymphoma & CAR T cell biobank) and Blood Disorders Program (BDP) research portfolios.

Working under the direction of the Clinical Research Manager, the CRA collaborates with the Investigators, clinical research nurses and coordinators, and health care team to jointly assume responsibility for the frontline management and coordination of oncology & BDP clinical trials and research studies (interventional trials and non-therapeutic studies).

The CRA will work collaboratively with CCRU's data and regulatory teams to ensure the collection of high quality data and regulatory compliance through the trials.

The CRA will be a part of a larger research coordinator team and have the opportunity to participate in other team and program initiatives.


The CRA role is a primarily on-site position, with some flexibility for work from home as disease site clinical schedule and tasks allow and as approved by the Manager in accordance with UHN guidelines.


Qualifications:


  • A Bachelors degree, or recognized equivalent, in a health or sciencerelated discipline
  • Postgraduate certificate in clinical research, asset
  • 1 2 years of clinical and/or professional experience, clinical research experience preferred
  • Proficiency in basic medical terminology required
  • Previous research in oncology and/or blood disorders, preferred
  • Experience with Epic EMR, asset
  • Experience with patient contact and informed consent in a clinical setting
  • Understanding of regulated clinical trial data and regulatory tasks, asset
  • Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines
  • Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures, asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a dynamic & fastpaced environment
  • Able to operate effectively in an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong Proficiency with MS Office software, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint
