- University degree, college diploma or equivalent
- Active in faith practice, passionate about evangelization and well-grounded in Catholic tradition
- Theological training (certificate training, Theology of the Body training, conferences or courses) is an asset
- Experience in youth ministry or young adult ministry is advantageous
- Promote the truths of the gospel, so that students, parents and staff are equipped to become intentional disciples of Christ
- Promote the active participation of the life of the Church on campus.
- Organize and implement the school's retreat programme for students
- Organize staff formation opportunities and staff retreats
- Oversee the school's community service programme
- Organize and participate in service opportunities both locally and abroad
- Chair the Liturgical Committee
- Organize staff and student prayer groups
- Counsel students who have questions about their faith
- Network with existing youth ministers in the Archdiocese to enhance opportunities, experiences, and resources
- Organize Leadership retreats independently or in conjunction with other ministry groups
- Implement vocation awareness sessions with senior students
- Organize the annual Christmas Food Drive and clothing drive
- Organize individual class and school-wide liturgies (Opening School, Thanksgiving, Advent, Ash Wednesday, Feast of St. La Salle, Graduation etc.)
- Organize times throughout the school year for the sacrament of reconciliation
- Participate in and promote Lasallian staff formation opportunities offered through DENA
- Act as the staff leader for the Lasallian Youth Team
- Make known to the community the essential elements of the Lasallian tradition
- Oversee the morning prayer/reflection schedule
- Act as a resource person for all teachers and provide faith-based resources for classroom use in all subjects (Attend Department meetings and take minutes)
- Contribute regularly to the school's bi-weekly newsletter
- Present and organize parent formation opportunities through the Parent's Association
- Execute other duties and/or responsibilities requested by the Administration consistent with the objectives of the College
