_ Role Summary:
_

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Inventory Controller position for our Mississauga branch.

The main duties of this role will consist of receiving, controlling, and distributing components and equipment for use in the assembly of fire and security systems by the Large Systems Support team.

Arrange and control shipments out to branches, customer sites and manufacturers as may be required.


_Key Job Responsibilities:
_


  • Receive product from carriers at a loading dock or receiving doors.
  • Inspect all shipments for damage incurred prior to receiving.
  • Count all inventory on receipt to ensure accurate counts in relation to Packing Slips/BOLs.
  • Enter all received inventory into the ERP system and move materials to the applicable stocking location.
  • Crate, pack and prepare products and systems for shipment to branch or customer sites as applicable.
  • Generate all shipping documentation and arrange to pick up by carrier.
  • Control and ensure shipments are loaded by carrier and record shipping details.
  • Perform ERP transactions related to inventory movement including that for the Large Systems Support team.
  • Process RMA transactions.
  • Audit and reconcile all inventory within the warehouse.

_ __Qualifications:
_**- High School diploma or equivalent GED

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a related discipline
  • Knowledge of internal ERP system
  • Knowledge of standard inventory control procedures and software
  • Certified, knowledge and ability to operate materials handling equipment
  • Certified in the handling and recording of dangerous goods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs as necessary

  • Various shipping and receiving machinery and hand tools including metal sheers, floor scale, polywrap machinery, air tools, pallet jacks, and forklift.
