Experienced Comedy Writer/Story Editor
We are a Toronto production company who produces award-winning television.


We are seeking a to expand our successful team with fresh comic minds for the new 13-episode season of our established scripted comedy TV series.

As a Comedy Writer/Story Editor you would be working directly under our Showrunner and Producer.


Qualifications

  • Non-Union
  • Skilled at story arcs, episode treatments, and dialogue scenes
  • Experience writing for scripted television
  • Can tell a funny story in a page and a half
  • Meet hard deadlines
  • Strong interest and understanding in comedy
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Work independently and can collaborate in a writers group

Assets

  • Worked in and/or ran writers room before
