Responsibility 1:
Leadership of Planning, Reporting, and Financial Management

Lead the development and implementation of planning process and tools including planning architecture, creation and execution of planning process in line with the Society's overall planning approach, and development of supporting materials related to planning.

Lead the coordination, design, and development of new business opportunities including development of proposals supporting Relief Services priorities and furtherance of strategic partnerships as requested.

Support Relief service leads in the evolution of existing and design of new service offerings under Relief Services portfolio aligning to forecasted needs, partnership expectations, and emerging opportunities.

Responsibility 2:
Risk, Quality and Business Management

Lead the development and implementation of risk management processes and tools including an approach to integration of risk management within all Relief Services programs and operations, creation and execution of risk identification, review and update processes in line with the Society's overall Enterprise Risk Management approach, and development of supporting materials related to risk management.

In collaboration with service leads, lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality indicators and practices to support the growth and maturity of Relief Services in line with the Society's Quality Management Framework and Policy.

Lead the development of and implementation of incident management processes and tools including an approach to integration of incident management within all Relief Services programs and operations.

Lead the coordination and implementation of initiatives and projects within Relief Services as requested.

In collaboration with Relief Services leadership, develop mechanisms for collaboration within Relief Services and with intersecting teams across the organization.

Lead the development and implementation of strong internal information management and documentation standards and practices.

Provide support to service leads and program/operation teams as required to ensure high quality service delivery and an integrated approach to continuous improvement.

University degree in a relevant discipline (business administration, management) from a recognized academic institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 5-6 years working in program management, administration management, community development, or similar.
Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing business support functions.
Experience managing multimillion dollar contracts and funded projects is an asset.
Fluency in English is required, French is an asset.
Strong depth of knowledge of business operations and support processes.
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
Strong understanding of appropriate business support tools, business intelligence dashboards and data frameworks would be an asset.

Strong business acumen, problem solving and effective management skills including strategic and operational planning, budgetary processes, resource allocation, evaluation, change management and strategic planning.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point) and Share Point is required

Potential for responding in hardship conditions, as well as difficult and unstable conditions (environmental, physical, social, etc.) If working in a response site, health and safety considerations will be outlined prior to the assignment.
