Job Summary:
***Under the direction of the Controller, this position is responsible for reviewing and updating accounting and payroll processes and procedures.
Typical Duties:
- Compile all accounting and payroll related procedures and highlight them for review and updates.
- Assist and review the accounts receivable process and update the process manuals.
- Assist and review the rent collection process and update the process manuals.
- Assist and review the trust disbursements, account opening/closing, fees collection and bank reconciliation processes and update the process manuals.
- Assist and review the accounts payable process and update the process manuals.
- Assist and review the cash and cheques deposits process and update the process manuals.
- Assist, review and update the accounting standard operating procedures.
- Assists in adhoc tasks when assigned.
