What You'll Do Here:


  • Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Nuclear, the Executive Assistant performs a variety of complex and confidential administrative duties requiring a thorough knowledge of organizational procedures. This position requires the ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative, while projecting a tactful, diplomatic and professional approach at all times. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Nuclear, the Executive Assistant performs a variety of complex and confidential administrative duties requiring a thorough knowledge of organizational procedures. This position requires the ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative, while projecting a tactful, diplomatic and professional approach at all times.
  • Provide executive administrative support to the Senior Vice President, Nuclear and the Nuclear Senior Leadership Team
  • Provide proactive administrative support with a variety of responsibilities and special projects
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments, reservations and travel arrangements
  • Responsible for scheduling and arranging of meetings and conference calls involving multiple Senior Executives
  • Interact and build relationships with other Executive Assistants and Administrators to easily facilitate meetings and changes to calendars
  • Greet clients and visitors in a highly professional manner, consistently exuding professionalism and representing the SVP well
  • Plan, organize and followup on details related to offsite meetings, social events and other functions for internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and participate in team meetings, manage agenda items and take minutes as requested
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Executive as required, leveraging strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations for operational meetings
  • Communicate confidential and sensitive information to senior management/external sources
  • Participate in team and strategy meetings as required
  • Organize hotel accommodations and transportation for out of town visitors
  • Anticipate and assess the needs of executive to ensure their success.
  • Other related general administrative duties as require

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:


  • Postsecondary education (Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 35 years' experience supporting a Senior Executive
  • Must be available for afterhours communications and tasks (i.e. last minute travel flights/hotel/meeting changes)
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, Ability to confidentially handle sensitive information
  • High level of organization, problem solving and multitasking skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently under tight timelines and take initiative to complete required tasks without close direction
