    This is a Temporary Full Time position for 12 months

    This role a key facilitator in managing the overall processes for Sinai Health related to Ontario Fertility Program, a key funded program that generates money for the hospital with supported volumes for fertility treatments.

    This will include managing a wait time list, calling patients to pull them in or re-evaluate their ability to proceed with treatment in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

    They also submit eligibility claims and communicate back to patients their status.

    Using standardized tools, this person will track their progress, contribute to BORN data, and help the patient understand what their next steps are in their fertility journey.

    While ensuring timely, accurate and accessible information on the status of use of OFP funding, this role will support the Clinical Director to manage and support funded volumes, ensuring timely access to care for Sinai Health's patients.

    The other significant aspect of the role is patient navigation and to help patients orient themselves to the sometimes complex fertility journey.

    Work with teams to optimize accuracy to ensure that data proves reliable and usable to facilitate operational planning of IVF, IUI, FET and other funded procedures as part of the Ontario Fertility Program
    Manage waitlists for Funded IVF procedures and pull in patients for treatment
    Submission of eligibility claims and Remittance Advice Inquiries to the Ministry of Health
    Support patients in their fertility journey, helping them navigate common diagnostic testing, success/failure of treatment, demonstrating sensitivity and caring to patients at various stages
    Ensure accuracy in clinical target assignments, capture system delays and ensure report accuracy prior to submission to senior leadership and provincial reporting
    Oversee the resolution process and monitoring resolution status; Prepare routine and ad-hoc reporting for senior management and executive leadership to support operations and initiatives
    Determine and assesse root cause issues to challenges in processes and data capture, implementing sustainable solutions
    Promote a collaborative, team-based approach to problem solving that supports evidenced-based decision-making with clinical and corporate teams
    Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to review of utilization, reporting processes efficiencies, and the maintenance of high data quality
    Cross coverage of related non-unionized roles within the administrative team, when required
    Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Solid knowledge of clinical processes with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant fertility experience, preferred
    Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
    Demonstrated strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
    Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; Strong organizational skills and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment with minimal direction
    Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance record
