THE OPPORTUNITY
Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking a Full-Time Driver to join our team. The shifts are Monday - Friday. The wage range is $21 - $24 per hour, based on experience. Extended Health & Dental Benefits start after 3 months.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers
Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as a top priorities
Deliveries as dictated by the needs of the business
Superior customer service while driving and delivering materials and products
Perform safety pretrip inspections on Slegg vehicles
Loading and unloading of trucks
Flexible work hours each day in order to complete necessary delivery orders
General housekeeping duties, or various yard and warehouse tasks
Other duties as assigned by management

THE REQUIREMENTS

Previous driver experience
Minimum valid Class 5 BC Drivers licence
Forklift experience an asset
Previous driver and roll off experience
Physically demanding, must be able to lift heavy products
A positive can do attitude is essential
