Position Summary:
We are actively looking for experienced Case Managers to support our clients and assist them with their road to recovery after an accident.
You will be required to assess and assist clients with minor to complex injuries sustained as a result of their MVA and communicate with all relevant stakeholders as well as assess and evaluate the services being provided.
Position Responsibilities:
- Medical file review and service analysis;
- Initial intake assessment of clients;
- Communication with clients, family members, therapists, pharmacists, General Practitioners as well as other regulated and non regulated health care professionals/support professionals, lawyers, and insurance companies in a timely and professional manner;
- Advocacy to meet client's needs through effective communication and available resources to promote quality, costeffective outcomes;
- Planning, facilitation, service coordination;
- Coordinating communitybased services and scheduling;
- Referrals to medical and healthcare professionals for appropriately identified and needed services;
- Preparation of rehabilitation progress reports and detailed charting; and
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience:
- 25 years of Accident Benefits Adjusting Experience
- Previous experience in healthcare setting is an asset
- Strong working knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) an asset
- Strong customer service background
Education and Certifications:
- Post secondary diploma/degree in related field (sciences, social services, etc.)
- Drivers License and reliable vehicle access
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to understand and work with Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule experience (SABS)/Motor Vehicle Accident industry knowledge of best practices
- Strong Communication skills both verbal and written in English
- Ability to prioritize and manage your schedule effectively with effective decision making
- Attention to detail, strong assessment skills and ability to problem solve
Salary:
$52,000.00-$83,000.00 per year
