    Description
    Title - Enterprise Architect – Senior
    Duration – months
    Location – Edmonton, AB (Remote)
    Working Hours – (: – : Alberta time, Monday through Friday)

    Notes on Location:

    • Resource will work remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings when required.

    • Onsite meetings include but are not limited to strategic, architectural, and technical discussions, meeting with team members, senior managers, directors, executive directors and business clients. Frequency of meeting could be up to - times per month.
  • Experience assessing the design of broadband telecommunications solutions, including upstream parts of the network, for proposals that include a mix of technologies including Fiber-to-the-Home, Fixed Wireless Access and Low Earth Orbit satellite and transit. years
  • Experience designing and installing telecommunication equipment and networks ( fiber optics, microwave transmission, IP networks, electronic switching systems, etc.) years
  • Experience validating internet speed claims using an objective evidence-based approach (hardware/network limitations, testing equipment and/or rd party test results) years
  • Completion of equivalent telecommunications/network engineering certifications, other than TCM, TME, CTA, CWA
  • Completion of telecommunications certification - Certified Telecommunications Analyst (CTA)
  • Completion of telecommunications certification - Certified Wireless Analyst (CWA)
  • Completion of telecommunications certification - Telecommunications (TCM)
  • Completion of telecommunications certification - Telecommunications Master Engineer (TME)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
  • Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, troubleshoot, work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage stress and conflict.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management and vendors.
  • Experience designing broadband solutions using Fiber-to-the-Home and other wireline technologies and equipment. years
  • Experience designing broadband solutions using Fixed Wireless Access technologies and equipment. years
  • Experience designing broadband solutions using Low Earth Orbit satellite technologies and equipment. years
  • Experience leading or playing a major role in a large broadband/ telecommunications project years
  • Experience preparing and presenting comprehensive information to technical teams, management and proponents. Including but not limited to contributing to assessment notes, geospatial maps, Logical Network Design diagrams, presentations, etc. Ability to assess the impact of technology changes and communicate this to multiple teams/departments, senior SA management, and other impacted stakeholders. years
