Job summary
The Community Mental Health Worker (CMHW) provides psychosocial assessment consultation and evidence-informed counselling intervention to individuals referred for mental health problems.- Provides welcoming environment facilitating respectful therapeutic relationships with individuals families referral sources community.
- Works within multidisciplinary team collaborating with agencies service providers in keeping with Personal Health Information Act Mental Health Act Child Welfare Act Protecting Children information sharing Act other Acts legislation program service area.
