    This is a regular part-time on-site role as a Clinic Nurse & Administrator at the Bedford Pharmacist Walk-in Clinic+ by Lawtons Drugs located in Bedford, NS. The Clinic Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients in the clinic setting, conducting basic patient initial assessments, administering vaccinations, performing point-of-care testing, providing health education, basic counseling to patients where applicable, and assisting with the coordination of patient care. The Clinic Nurse will work closely with the clinic pharmacist lead and administrative assistants to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    What you have to offer:


    • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in Nova Scotia and licensed to practice in Nova Scotia


    • Experience in a clinic or healthcare setting


    • Knowledge of vaccination and medication administration


    • Ability to perform basic reception duties such as greeting patients, answering telephones, scheduling appointments and other office duties


    • Participating in point-of-care testing at the clinic


    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills


    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment


    • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems (e.g. Med-Access)


    • Current CPR certification


    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills


    • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment


    • Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
