*Accountabilities:

• General accounting support
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Setting up and maintaining vendor accounts, forwarding credit applications
• Processing and receiving purchase requisitions, maintaining P.O log, matching P.O's and packing slips
• Processing of invoices for payment (entering vouchers/posting), running of cheques,
• Preparing various reports
• Account analysis and reconciliation
• Handling vendor invoices, compiling audit documentation, job cost and profit analysis and cost tracking
• Back-up coverage for reception
• Other accounting duties as assigned

*Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related accounting positions such as accounts payable, book keeping, general accounting background
• Post-secondary education in accounting/finance is required
• Excellent data entry and computer skills – Excel, Word, and an understanding of ERP systems
• Good communication and problem solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and organization skills.
• Reliable and a team-player
