Demand Planner

LOCATION:
Burnaby/Guelph
We are looking for a Demand Planner to join our dynamic Sales Team Our Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting activities associated with our customers for all our finished goods.
The Demand Planner will create and maintain forecast models for customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources.
Our Demand Planner is also the lead trade support contact responsible for approving and reconciling customer billbacks for all brands.

This is a very exciting time for our Team as we continue to grow and expand The main challenge is to create and maintain high-quality demand forecasts and demand forecast analytics by assembling and analyzing all data pertinent to creating/maintaining the demand forecast.
However, this provides opportunities to leave your footprint on the company and connect with many people in and outside of the company.
As lead of our order fulfillment process, you will also be the primary contact between the Sales team and the production planning and customer service teams to ensure forecasts and promotions are effectively communicated.
You will get the opportunity to work with all our plants and our incredible group of brands including Organic Meadow, Rolling Meadow, Meadowfresh, Scardillo, Happy Planet, and a2 Milk.

- You are experienced with trade spend programs in the CPG category
EXPERIENCE
- You have a postgraduate degree or diploma, ideally with a strong mathematical/statistical component
- You have 35 years of Demand Planning experience in food manufacturing
NICE-TO-HAVE
- IBF qualification
- Experience with forecasting tools
THINGS YOU WILL DO
- Successfully lead sales and demand planning collaborative sessions with key stakeholders to generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual demand plans across all our brands
- Support execution of the product lifecycle management process for all new product launches, new SKU sales growth/decline and product exits as it relate to the demand planning function
- Drive continuous improvement in the development, modification, and adjustment of procedures, policies, processes, and technologies within the demand planning organization
- Improve the demand forecast quality and accuracy by effectively analyzing sources of forecast metrics and recommending appropriate action plans through an established S&OP process
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices and the ability to advocate for and translate those into forecasting practices where appropriate
- Key contributor for the distillation of forecast and sales data in support of Management's regular reviews and ad hoc requests
- Work very closely with Sales to monitor and forecast sales trends, particularly for features and promotional lifts
- Lead on approving customer chargebacks and reconciling Trade Spend with the assistance of the Sales team for all our brands
OTHER
- You might be required to work overtime during monthend
- You will need to have flexible work hours as working with functional teams across BC and Ontario time zones (EST & PST)

$72,000.00-$88,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Demand planning: 3 years (preferred)
- Food and Beverage manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
