- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Manage production accounting such as inventory management and train accounting
- Develop plant cost forecast and manage accruals
- Assist in the development of the annual processing budget
- Coordinate the short- and long-range capital and major expense plans
- Manage miscellaneous small and medium scope projects for the processing department
- Plan and coordinate plant operations contractors, including contract management and supervision duties and support
- Conduct railway inspections and associated reporting
- Support Plant Maintenance and Plant Engineering
- High school diploma - a Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Certificate or post-secondary diploma in a related engineering or technical discipline is an asset
- Supervisory experience considered an asset, must be capable of obtaining a BC Mines Supervisor Certificate
- Knowledge and experience with materials acquisition, planning, or scheduling
- Excellent digital literacy, particularly in the Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Knowledge and experience in the use of Plant Runs is an asset
- Previous Processing experience is an asset

Reporting to the Processing Operations General Supervisor, the Planner, Processing is responsible for daily and monthly production accounting, processing cost tracking, budgeting, and project and contractor management for the Plant Operations Department.
To be successful, we are looking for someone with excellent communication, human relation, and follow-up skills, who can effectively find opportunities and assist the processing department with getting tasks completed. Most importantly, you must be a self motivate, team player with strong organizing, planning, and resourcing abilities.

Teck employees receive a competitive compensation package that includes, but is not limited to, base salary plus the following benefits:
Salary Range: $121,000 - $140,000
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
