Key Information:

Must have at least 2 years as a pipelayer or equivalent experience.
Must be able to install valves, hydrants, air shoring, and box culverts.
Must be able to install concrete pipe, pvc pipe, MH's and CB's
Hours: Various shifts, project dependent, 12-hour days
Must be willing to working evenings and weekends (Various shift rotations)
Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:

Installing water valves, hydrants, air shoring, and box culverts.
Installing concrete pipe, pvc pipe, MH's, and CB's.
Communicating with the Foreperson, Operators, and Crew members.
Cut/bevel pipe to ensure proper pipe placement.
Use surveying and grade to properly place pipe.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years of working experience as a Topman/Woman or equivalent for various sewer and water projects required.
Must have a strong understanding of reading grade.
Must have an understanding of surveying.
Must be able to do elevation shots.
Must be able to read and understand drawings.
CSTS-09 or 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, fall protection required.
A successful pre-access drug and Alcohol test may be required depending on the project.
A reliable means of transportation is required.
Proficient English language skills required.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
