Cart Connection Canada is looking for a Afternoon Shift Leader to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the daily operations of the shift, including training, delegation, and communication.

• Train, manage, and delegate tasks to all staff members. Maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Operate a forklift and ensure all equipment is functioning properly and maintain safety standards.
• Load and unload trucks in the afternoon with the team as needed.
• Always monitor and manage safety compliance.
• Attend daily production meetings with day shift supervisors and plant manager.
• Assist in inventory controls and management of inventory.
• Communicate daily shift reports.
• Motivate the team to drive results.
• Follow escalation plan and communicate issues in a timely manner.

Requirements and skills

• High level of communication required.
• Must be selfmotivated.
• Highly organized.
• Ability to manage a team with mínimal supervision.
• Forklift certification.
• Leadership skills.
• Critical thinking and problemsolving skills are essential.
• Knowledge and experience with hand, power and pneumatic tools is essential.

Salary:
$20.00-$21.00 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Team management: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Ford Certification (preferred)
