Position Overview:
Join the Finning family Based out of Mildred Lake, Finning Canada is seeking a Parts Journeyperson / Countersales (VMI) to support multiple customer sites in the Fort McMurray Region.
As the Field Parts Journeyperson, you are responsible for handling a variety of parts functions including overseeing, handling and delivery of vendor managed inventory and On-Site customer service.

Job Description:
- Parts orders and delivery.
- On-Site Inventory Management
- Counting, ordering, delivery and stocking.
- Parts Coordination related to customer equipment maintenance and repair, in the field.
- Ensure accurate required by dates are entered into the software system.
- Consistency in communicating estimated delivery dates to the onsite customer contact.
- Complete daily EJHA and monthly vehicle inspection.
- Attend all Teams meetings, micro learnings, and trainings requested by the Regional Parts Manager.
- Delivery of parts to various locations as determined by the Parts Regional Manager and VMI Lead Hand.
- Participate in parts related special projects and assignments
- Participate in call quality and performance initiatives as required
- Procurement of non-CAT parts
- Managing backordered parts
- Weekly Inventory usage reports for customer.
Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson parts certification (Red Seal preferred) coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge
- Experience working with customers, field experience is an asset
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
- Capable of working with mínimal supervision
- Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
- Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package is beneficial
- Field experience.
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to drive F550 Flatdeck on a daily basis.
- Clean shaven for Site Access.
- Crane and Rigging (will train).
- Forklift (will train).
- This is a safety sensitive position and requires the ability to pass Customer Site required screening.

- Site Access Pre-Requisites must be met including full panel testing
