What you'll do

  • Gather attendance data on a daily basis
  • Administer and maintain Distribution employee attendance records
  • Administration of daily exceptions and absence reporting
  • Identify and validate discrepancies in daily attendance reporting
  • Creation and transmission of reports and payroll files
  • Investigation, resolution, and documentation of pay discrepancies
  • Ensure updates from HRIS take place and interface employee information correctly, monitor vacation/bank/flex balances, maintain profiles & schedules, etc
  • Function as a contact person for projected payrolls and other special payroll requests.
  • Update daily attendance sheets with employee changes in HRIS reporting
  • Run exception reports in Manhattan and reconcile variations for PTS Reporting
  • Publishing Audits to various Stakeholders
  • Use of Coupa system for payment of invoices
  • Maintaining database records and ensuring new entries meet submission standards (SharePoint Gatekeeper)
  • Involvement in documenting processes and scanning them to SharePoint site
  • Collection of DT Checklists or Training/Policy Signoff sheets for entry in SharePoint site
  • Publishing reports of tracked performance reviews to Managers and AVP's
  • Use Kronos knowledge to support any absences or coverage issues*
  • Maintain strong communication ties to HR for changes in policy and process
  • Act as a source of information for HR Inquires on employee changes
  • Accountable for the accuracy of employee payroll records
  • Provide Accounting with weekly cost center reports.
  • Maintain & Support 7 Day Operations employee schedules observing and maintaining shift & crew trades, holidays, overtime & employee leave as per policy
  • Diagnose and escalate first level Kronos system support issues to appropriate parties & Global Support
  • First line of support for Kronos system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Communicate with other business units to ensure accurate and consistent information is obtained per CTC and governing attendance standards and policies
  • Administer student and contract payouts
  • Provide DC Administrative functions
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Experience in dealing with the administration of confidential information
  • Self motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision
  • Strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and flexibility within work hours
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Post secondary education or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience in payroll administration or other related fields would be an asset
**This is a weekend shift Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 10 hr shifts.
