Wood Buffalo Addiction and Mental Health Services (area 10, Fort McMurray) has an opportunity for an energetic and dynamic individual to work as a temporary fulltime Social Worker role with the Walk in Clinic.

If you are passionate about providing Addiction & Mental Health treatment services to all age groups in a community setting, then this is the ideal career opportunity for you.

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Fort McMurray Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $12,480.

This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Description:
As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter-disciplinary team and provides a range of social work services to patients and their families

Your services may include:

psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, individual, group and family treatment, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public awareness activities.
