As a Food Service Worker at Saint Mary's University's Food Court, you'll take on the important task of providing exceptional service to our guests - the students, faculty and staff of Saint Mary's University.

Responsibilities:

Assures quality, courteous customer service is provided to all guests
Educate customers on menu items, daily features, and promotions
Maintains continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
Assist with the preparation of food items in accordance with each Food Court component menu
Stock and merchandise shelves, fridges and freezers
May wash and sanitize component dishes and utensils
May perform light cash handling duties such as processing customer transactions, opening and closing cash systems
Record temperatures, label products in accordance with FIFO, complete waste log and cleaning log
Adhere to all Aramark policies and procedures including occupational health and safety and food safety
May perform other job duties as required

Qualifications:

Experience in the restaurant/food service industry considered an asset
Experience with cash handling considered an asset
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Must be flexible, as evening and weekend work is required

This is a union position with SEIU Local 2.
