Hours:
Monday-Friday split shifts 7am-9am & 2pm-6pm on regular school days. Full day shifts on non-school days, Pro D days, Spring/summer break. Wage will depend on experience and education.


Main responsibilities:

• Train, support and supervise staff in providing engaging, interactive educational and recreational experiences.
• Supervise school aged children.
• Responsible for ensuring the centre is in compliance with licensing regulations.
• Liaise with parents and school board staff.
• Program planning and scheduling.
• Responsible for a variety of administrative duties, including but not limited to scheduling, billing, and picking up supplies.
• Maintain a strong relationship with school board staff and families.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and wellbeing of all children.
• Maintain records and files.
• Ability to problem solve and respond to concerns of staff and families.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise developmentally appropriate and safe activities for children.
• Responsible for staff training and supervision.
• Responsible for handling First Aid situations and emergencies.
• Set up care plans.
• Sending out newsletters.
• Assist in the set up and cleanup of activities at the Centre.
• Center maintenance including helping staff with maintaining the cleanliness of toys and all areas of the facility.
• Other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 30-35 per week


Salary:
$20.00-$26.00 per hour
