Duties_

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for residential and light commercial flooring and tile projects
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
• Utilize our inhouse estimating software to input data and calculate quantities
• Analyze project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor quotes
• Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings or value engineering
• Present estimates to project leads, management, and clients in a clear and professional manner

Education and Experience Requirements_

• Completion of a revelant diploma or degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating
• Strong knowledge of flooring and construction industry practices, materials, and methods
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team, with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to travel to and from to site, hold a valid driver's license
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and other technical documents
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams, designers, subcontractors, and clients
• Experience in project management or field construction is a plus

$45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
