Job Duties

Preparing food for all meal services, meeting dietary requirements where required
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Clean and sanitize kitchen appliances, dishes, utensils and all hard surfaces
Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks are completed
Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
Assist in unloading the grocery truck
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
All other labour duties as required and assigned

Requirements:

Red Seal Cook Certification or in the process completing apprenticeship preferred
Postsecondary culinary education
23 years of previous relevant kitchen experience
Remote camp experience
Must have a valid Standard First Aid certification
Must have attention to detail and food presentation skills
Available to work a day shift, afternoon shift, split shift, or night shift
Rotation schedule may be 2 weeks on 1 week off or 1 week on and 2 weeks off
